Ways to Get Involved

SHAA needs volunteers for both one-time-only events and ongoing efforts.  We set up mics and speakers, staff the sign-in table at reunions, serve refreshments at the SHAA craft fairs and more! On-going projects like the website, virtual meetings, and the newsletter also need support.  SHAA actively supports our Alma Mater through its events and activities.  A student's family makes a substantial financial commitment. For 2023-24 the total annual costs exceed $10K.  Every year, the school funds more than 2 dozen academic scholarships. These scholarships range from $1,000 to $4,500 per year for all four years. Contributions from our organization help fund those scholarships.  If you want to help current students today, press the button below. 

SHAA organizes in-person and virtual events to support alumnae and strengthen their lifelong bonds. We have helped bring thousands of alumnae together. The association will often advance seed money for event deposits and mailings. Reunions? We have a plan that can help.  Zoom special-interest group meetings? We have an account for you to use.
